"The Latest in the Williamson Household"

So its been several days since I have blogged. I guess if I start something I need to keep it up right? It is way to early to get off track and I have absolutely NO EXCUSE!! LOL

We had a very relaxing holiday weekend. Saturday we went to Cheddars for lunch with Ashley and Amanda. It was my first time going.I have to say it was very good and the prices were not bad either. The only downside was the customer service could have been allot better. What is the deal these days?  It seems like no matter where you go the service sucks. Can people just be happy?

Here is a picture of Kynleigh being a big girl eating her puffs at the table.

We went to Keith and Jessica's Saturday night. They had some people over for a poker game. It was fun but, I still can't get the hang of it. I watched the entire game and was still confused when it was over. ?? LOL. I guess I get that blonde thing from my mom (Not really)..... Me and Kynleigh didn't get home until after 11pm. That is really late for us but, it was worth it to spend time with friends!!!

Sunday we missed church and my excuse is because we woke up late. I feel really bad that we have missed church the last 3 Sundays but, we will be going this week. We went to eat lunch with Keith, Jessica and the kids at Grotto's/http://www.grottohouston.com/. It was good but, different. It would be a great place to go for a nice dinner.

Monday it was very nasty weather. I have to say it was the most productive day of all. Ashley and I cleaned most of the day. Ashley cooked a brisket that was sooo tasty (We are still eating on it). Other than that we just relaxed and I think the highlight of the day was watching The Real Housewives Reunion and The Kardashians. (Sunday & Monday). Its sad when all you look forward to during the day is waiting for your favorite Tv show to come on!!!!

Yesterday I had to pick Kynleigh up from day care because she was running fever. I immediately took her to the Dr. and they said she has a virus. She is still running a low fever but, seems to be feeling allot better today. I had to play hooky from school today to take care of her. That will complete the highlights in our lives over the past few days!!!!

More to come..........................

Kynleigh's nap time

Today was Kynleigh's first time to take a nap in her own bed. In the past when we have laid her down in her crib it does not last but a couple of minutes before she wakes up or notices that she is not in a familiar place.

From the day we brought Kynleigh home from the hospital she has slept in the bed with us. We even tried the bassinet by the bed when she was small enough and no luck with that either. Everyone has expressed their own opinions to Bo and I about her sleeping with us. I understand that it can't be the best thing and a baby/child needs to sleep in their own bed. There are a couple reasons why it is difficult for Kynleigh to transition to her crib.

One reason is that I can't stand her hear her cry (and she never stops). A couple of months ago she fell off of our bed (good thing there is carpet in our room). After that Bo and I decided that she needed to start sleeping in her crib. I set up the video monitor and I just knew it was going to work. She was in a deep sleep but, not even a couple of minutes after I laid her down that was it! I didn't give up so soon, I let her cry for a while and tried putting her to sleep a couple of times after that.

Another reason is that I love to sleep with her. Especially when Bo is not at home. She is my sleeping buddy. Just knowing she is there right by my side, safe and sound puts me at peace. I love waking up to her smiling face, giggles and sparkling big eyes as she pulls my hair and says "Da Da Da"! I know these days are coming to an end and the older she gets the more we are going to want her in her own bed but, for now I am loving her as my bed partner. Bo, on the other hand not so much. Last time he was home I don't think there was room for all 3 of us in the bed because Kynleigh sleeps so crazy! We sold her pack and play since she was growing out of it and we only used it to take naps anyway. I figured now is a good time to start laying her in her bed for nap time then maybe it will transition to bedtime! (One day. LOL)

She fills our lives with sunshine and hearts with love!

My New Blog

I decided to create this blog for a couple of reasons. I recently started school and in 2 classes I am taking we are required to have a journal. I think the last time I kept a journal I was in middle school. My teacher mentioned the option to create a blog and I am stoked about the idea! I have wanted to do this in the past but, never had to time to learn and actually do it. I love to be creative and share my thoughts & opinions. Everyone can get a chance to see a closer look at what goes on in my everyday life and at the same time I am sure you will be able to find something on my page that interest you.

Please keep in mind that I am a beginner at this. I have al lot of ideas to incorporate on my page. If anyone has any neat ideas please share them with me.I hope everyone enjoys viewing!!!!
